The evengtallery 910Arts collaborates with the Colorado Environmental Film
Festival and Transition Denver to present;
A selection of films from the 2009 Colorado Environmental Film Festival
* "Big Ask," directed by Nick Balthazar (4 mins) offers a powerful
message about global warming.
* "Consumo Cuidado," directed by Octavio van Praag (4 mins), from
Venezuela, is an animated tale of ecological harmony, industrial pollution
and excessive waste.
* "Red Lady: The Battle for Your Mountains," directed by Jeremy
Rubingh (13 mins) is an award-winner that explores the conflict between the
mining industry and the town of Crested Butte.
* "Dive," directed by Jeremy Seifert (45 mins) follows a circle of
friends as they dumpster dive and uncover thousands of dollars worth of good
food and the ugly truth about grocery store waste.
Moderated discussions follow the showing of each film.
