Less than a generation ago, human beings worldwide traveled fewer than 10 miles to obtain the majority of the food they ate; today, the average conventionally grown vegetable has traveled more than 1,500 miles by the time it reaches your pantry. The Living Farm's Carmella Hensyel introduces the film and leads a discussion afterwards. Copies of the film will be for sale. Fourth Thursday Film Night is presented in collaboration with Transition Denver. A $5 contribution is suggested.
