Faces of Haiti: Through Art and Photography

“Faces of Haiti: Through Art and Photography,” an exhibition featuring the work of humanitarian photographers Colby Brown (Denver) and Ray Tollison (Fort Collinsfocusing on the Haitian people and organizations working in post-earthquake Haiti mixed with a colorful blend of Haitian art, including cut metalwork, sequin and bead art, stone sculpture, horn and bone jewelry, and paintings.


Many special events are scheduled during the run of the exhibition, including a Preview Party on May 5, two First Friday Art Walks on May 6 and June 3, and a Film Night on May 26 featuring the documentary film “Nou Bouke: Haiti’s Past, Present and Future.” There will also be two fundraisers during the six-week run of the exhibit, one for Colorado Haiti Project on May 20 and a joint fundraiser for Renewal4Haiti and Trees, Water & People on June 2.
