Canto Do Galo Capoeira is a community, a diverse collective of multitalented artist, professionals and students of life who come together in the roda (circle of capoeira).  

We come to dance in the rhythm of life, to celebrate and express ourselves with our interactions, bodies and our voices. Creating a beautiful and magical work of poetry in motion. We take the risk of losing, the risk of gaining, exploring all the impossible possibilities of who we are… with our hearts so that we may awaken our spirits. 

Canto Do Galo Capoeira was founded in Boulder CO., in 1995 by Mestre Galo (Greg Flickinger).  In 2000 we expanded our community presence to the Denver metro area and in 2006 became a member of the 910 Arts community as well.
