Jamie E. Hatch received her BFA from Alfred University's School of Art and Design. There she studied ceramics and metal sculpture. After receiving her degree she moved to Vermont and worked at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center, as well as at the Marble Museum.

Following these experiences, Jamie worked as a welder and blacksmith at Hubbardton Forge in Castleton, Vermont. She was employed there for 3 years, being promoted to the positions of "Forge Technician" and "Process Engineer Specialist" before her move to Colorado.

Currently Jamie teaches 3-dimensional art at a high school in Englewood. In addition, she owns and operates a studio/ gallery called "Fire Sign Fabrications". "Fire Sign Fabrications" is located in the Nine10 Arts building, Studio #2. Pottery, metal work, stained glass, and jewelry are all made on site and available to purchase. Large scale commissions can be constructed to suit a variety of personal needs or aesthetics.
