Bio and comments
I am a Denver native. I have lived in Colorado most of my life.
I recieved my BFA from the University of Colorado in 1972 and have worked as and artist and craftsman since then.
I did Ceramics for 15 years. I had a studio at the Denver Potters Guild and then in 1985 I switched gears and returned to another love, watercolor.
I had a studio at Grant Street Studios, which is now the Art Students League. In September of 2006 I moved into 910 Arts.
I would say that the focus and strength of my work is color. I am fascinated by the way colors translate from natural scenes and objects to a two dimensional surface as I work to transform the image. I try to keep the colors fresh and stimulating.
