910Arts is a multi-use, 24,600 square foot redevelopment project located on Santa Fe Drive and 9th Avenue near downtown Denver. It is unique in that it incorporates the concepts of urban renewal, community enhancement and green building practices – all on a relatively small budget compared to many other building projects. The building is an urban community that offers emerging artists a place to develop their work in a creative and affordable environment. 910Arts is built upon four key principles:
Not only does 910Arts provide emerging artists with an affordable, creative environment in which to work and live but it is also a catalyst to bring art into the everyday life of the community. We will continue to foster open dialog between artists and the community, be an example of the benefits of green building practices, and educate the public on how to apply eco-friendly principles in their own projects and lives.
