About 910 Arts
910Arts is situated in Denver’s vibrant Art District on Santa Fe, a Colorado Creative District, surrounded by over 60 galleries, studios, and cultural landmarks that reflect the neighborhood’s Latino heritage. The area’s colorful murals, Museo de las Americas, authentic Mexican restaurants, and popular First Friday Art Walks attract locals and visitors alike. 910Arts was created as a socially responsible and sustainable space where artists can collaborate and share their work with the public. Today, 910Arts exemplifies adaptive reuse, merging history, creativity, and community in a way that benefits both artists and the surrounding neighborhood.
910Arts, located at Santa Fe Drive and 9th Ave. in Denver, has a rich history, once serving as a livery, then a 7-Up bottling plant, and later housing auto-related businesses and a textile facility. After being vacant for over two years, Spector and Associates transformed the building into an affordable arts community with lofts, work studios, and a gallery, offering creative spaces within walking distance of downtown Denver. The project preserves the building’s industrial past while addressing the need for affordable spaces for artists to live and work. By integrating green building practices, construction waste management, and social responsibility, 910Arts goes beyond traditional development to support both the environment and the creative and local community.
